Dialog Edit Simple Temperament The dialog "Edit Simple Temperament" is used to edit a new or an existing simple temperament.
How to open the edit simple temperament dialog To open the edit full temperament dialog click "New" or "Edit" in the Dialog Temperament Manager. Identification Use the text field "Name" to specify a unique name of the own temperament. The Id-Number is automatically assigned to a temperament during the creation process and can not be modified. Cents deviation from equal temperament Use the text fields of this group box to define each tone by cents deviation from equal stretched temperament. Stretching of the octave Specify the octave stretch in the given text field. 0 Cent corresponds to the perfect octave.
